FURNITURE DESIGN
Furniture Design & Construction, "x-Chair"
This chair was completely designed and constructed with inspiration derived from Ward Bennett. It is solid wood construction using counter-balanced joinery to maintain the structural support. The finish is a oil-based stain and is purely decorative.

KLING-STUBBINS STUDENT CHARETTE
KlingStubbins is an internationally recognized design firm with expertise in architecture, engineering, interior design, planning and landscape architecture. Each year, the firm hosts a one-day design charette competition for Philadelphia area schools. The competition is timed, 7 hours, and students are required to complete a floor plan, perspective, and finish board.
For this year’s contest, students were asked to design and addition to college student center. The program included a café for snacks and coffee with multiple seating types, a school gift shop, and information center where students can learn about events, and a concentration zone where students can quietly focus and study, the center also had to have a multi-purpose lounge that can be used for presentations, movie nights and other events.
This project placed in the top 8 out of 60 as an Honorable Mention.
